AmeriVet, a Canadian company that provides services to veterinary offices, contacted SAEDF for information on doing business in the U.S. The SAEDF team was able to successfully recruit Amerivet to locate their first U.S. operations into the IBDC, which provides a soft landing for international companies. Through participation in the IBDC program, AmeriVet outgrew its original IBDC office space and projects to hire 60 new employees as part of its U.S. headquarters in San Antonio, Texas.
