Since its inception in 1975, the EDF has been directly responsible for bringing more than 300 companies to our city that are creating nearly 85,000 jobs for the people of San Antonio.

The economic impact of new businesses attracted by the San Antonio EDF in 2009 will translate into 9,789 jobs supported in the area. For that year, the total impact in terms of output (revenues) is estimated at nearly $1.5 billion.
