Vice President of Business Development
Rogelio Garcia joined the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation (SAEDF) as Vice President of Business Development in March 2018. As part of the business development team, Garcia supports the development and diversification of the San Antonio regional economy through business attraction and business retention & expansion. Prior to joining SAEDF, Garcia was Executive Vice President of the Free Trade Alliance of San Antonio, serving in various capacities such as development and promotion of the Alliance and its programs locally and internationally, coordinating trade missions and events, membership recruitment and services, providing international expertise to members, serving as the liaison between the organization and its members. Garcia has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of the Incarnate Word teaching the Importing & Exporting business course. A first generation Mexican-American and native of San Antonio, Garcia earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in International Business from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.
