Victory Capital Opens San Antonio Headquarters
Global asset management company Victory Capital celebrated the grand opening of its new San Antonio headquarters this month. The company made the decision to relocate its corporate headquarters from Cleveland, Ohio to San Antonio, Texas following the acquisition of San Antonio-based financial services provider USAA’s Asset Management Company.
Hundreds joined together in January 2020 to mark the new headquarters ribbon cutting, including elected officials, business community leaders, new Victory Capital employees, and USAA executive leadership.
Victory CEO David Brown remarked on the process and how they decided to make the move.
“We chose to move our headquarters to San Antonio because we believe that this city will play an important role in the long-term growth of our organization,” said Brown. “We believe that San Antonio offers employees the opportunity to live in a culturally rich city with a competitive cost of living.”
Victory Capital is one of several companies choosing to establish its headquarters in San Antonio. Since 2018, three other companies have located U.S. headquarters operations in San Antonio including The Hut Group, OKIN BPS, and AmeriVet.
San Antonio’s commitment to investing in educating its workforce, infrastructure, and quality of life is attracting more headquarters locations.
